As a Marketing Volunteer, you will be contributing to the marketing plan for the service, and help the team develop their marketing work by helping with a range of activities which might include giving talks, distributing leaflets, designing and putting up posters, attending events and responding to marketing enquiries.

How much time do I need to commit as a volunteer?
The advert details the days and times we're needing help at the moment. There may be other opportunities to volunteer at other time in the future. Generally, we ask for a minimum of one hour per week for at least six months.
What kind of support will I receive as a volunteer?
You will receive ongoing support and guidance from a local coordinator who will monitor your progress, and provide feedback. You will also have access to online resources, training opportunities, and peer support from other volunteers. Travel expenses will be paid.
About you
- Good communication skills
- An understanding of marketing, and preferably some marketing experience
- Confidence to speak in public
- Have an understanding of the needs of older people
- You will enjoy working with older people and within a team
- You will feel comfortable representing MHA services to the wider public
- You will be reliable and punctual
- Flexibility
- You will enjoy promoting and presenting the services to other professionals, older people and a wide range of others and be able to motivate them to get involved.
