About the role
You will be responsible for managing, developing and evaluating all aspects of the service to meet MHA's high-performance standards. You will enjoy the company of older people and be committed to delivering and developing the highest standards of care and support for residents to live their daily lives to the full, in the way they wish.

Continually improve all aspects of service provision in the Home, working within policy guidelines, relevant legislation and MHA policies and procedures to achieve Standards and Measures targets in the key areas of people, quality and financial.
To lead, support and develop team members to maximise their potential. Keep the team engaged and proactively manage any performance issues.
Ensure that the social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of residents are assessed and reviewed regularly, and that opportunities and assistance are provided to all residents to follow their preferred interests, maintain their independence as much as possible, build good social relationships and partake in individualised and collective programmes of activities.

About you
• You will have 2 to 3 years home management experience and have evidence of personal development.
• Experience of managing financial plans/budget
• Maintain all aspects of confidentiality and the ability to comply with all legislative requirements in relation to service users and staff
• We require an excellent communicator with supervisory experience to lead and motivate the staff team.
• Your people skills will also ensure positive relationships with residents and relatives as well as external agencies.
• With a background in health and social care, you will also have experience of successful financial management and hold or be keen to attain the Registered Manager's Award.
• You will be computer literate with experience of word-processing/ spreadsheets/databases/e-mail.
