The role of the brunch club volunteer is to support this valuable service, which aims to help improve the quality of life older people who are socially isolated and may only get out to this activity.
The role will also involve setting and clearing tables and help serve refreshments.

Through supporting this activity, you'll help older people to connect with others. You will also gain valuable skills and knowledge that can enhance your personal and professional development.

How much time do I need to commit as a brunch club volunteer?
You will need to be able to commit to volunteering every Friday morning between 9.30am and 12.30pm and be with us for at least six months or longer.
What kind of support will I receive as a brunch club volunteer?
You will receive ongoing support and guidance from a local coordinator, who will monitor your progress, and provide feedback. You will also have access to online resources, training opportunities, and peer support from other volunteers.
Once you start at the scheme you will have the support of a named Community Coordinator.
Travel expenses will be paid.
You can apply online by filling out a short application form. You will also need to attend an induction training session before you start your role.
