As a kitchen helper you will assist with the preparation and serving of light refreshments and meals at lunch clubs for members, or provide hot drinks at social groups

By becoming a kitchen helper volunteer, you can support our services and help us to deliver a hot, delicious, nutritious meal to our members.  You can gain valuable skills and knowledge that can enhance your personal and professional development, or bring skills from a previous role to help us provide a meal which is the highlight of the weekly menu for our members.  
 

How much time do I need to commit as a volunteer?

Generally, we ask for a minimum of one hour per week for at least six months

This opportunity is 4 hours every other week, on Tuesdays from 10am-2pm.

What kind of support will I receive as a volunteer?

You will receive ongoing support and guidance from a local coordinator who will monitor your progress, and provide feedback. You will also have access to online resources, training opportunities, and peer support from other volunteers.
Travel expenses will be paid.
