About the Role
A volunteer gardener is someone who helps maintain and improve the gardens of MHA’s care homes and/or retirement living schemes. A volunteer gardener also assists the residents and members to enjoy the benefits of nature and gardening.

Generally, we ask for a minimum of one hour per week for at least six months. Opportunites for this role are available Monday-Friday between the hours of 10am-4pm.
What support will I receive
You will receive ongoing support and guidance from a local coordinator who will monitor your progress, and provide feedback. You will also have access to online resources, training opportunities, and peer support from other volunteers.
Travel expenses will be paid.
