MHA Hillside in Aylesbury has kicked off the festive season with a heartwarming Christmas fayre that raised over £240 for the home. The event was attended by more than 50 people, including staff, residents, and their families. Originally planned to take place outdoors, the fayre was moved indoors to the ground floor lounge due to cold weather, but it didn’t dampen the festive spirit.

The fayre featured a raffle, homemade food prepared by the kitchen staff, and a highlight performance by the staff, who sang Christmas carols. The event was a true team effort, with everyone contributing to its success. Bilgy Joseph, the recently appointed home manager, expressed gratitude for the immense support and lively atmosphere, with the lounge filled with joy and Christmas cheer.

The funds raised will benefit the home’s amenities fund, supporting activities and outings for the residents. The £240-plus raised was seen as a phenomenal achievement, reflecting the strong community spirit at MHA Hillside.
