It sounds like Suzanne Hitch’s surprise 80th birthday party was a very special occasion at MHA Handsworth! After nearly 33 years of dedicated service as a kitchen assistant, Suzanne was clearly appreciated by her colleagues. The surprise element, involving staff training as the excuse, added an extra layer of excitement to the celebration.

The thoughtful gifts, including flowers, cake, and a collection from the staff, truly showcased how much Suzanne is valued at the home. It must have been a heartfelt moment for her, surrounded by both staff and residents who clearly admire her. Suzanne's long tenure is a testament to her commitment and hard work, and it’s wonderful that the home took the time to celebrate her milestone in such a meaningful way.
