Two colleagues from MHA Willowcroft in Derby recently celebrated a combined total of 20 years of service at the home, marking a significant milestone in their careers. Rachael Simpson, who serves as Deputy Home Manager, and Rebecca "Becky" Roe, a Care Assistant, have both worked at Willowcroft for the last 10 years. Their dedication and long service were acknowledged with a bouquet of flowers and a certificate of appreciation from the home. Willowcroft provides residential and dementia care to 60 residents. Reflecting on her journey, Rachael shared that she was encouraged by a former colleague to apply for a senior carer role at Willowcroft in 2014. She considers it one of the best decisions she's ever made, highlighting her love for working with residents and being part of a supportive, tight-knit team. Despite facing challenges, such as the difficult times during the COVID-19 pandemic, Rachael believes these experiences have made the team stronger and more resilient.
