About the role

Reporting to the Home Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality service and developing our staff team. This will include assisting in the management, development and evaluation of all aspects of service provision in the home, within policy guidelines ensuring that all relevant legislation, organisational policies and procedures and codes of practice are adhered to. The Deputy Home Manager will take temporary/ complete charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager, when required.

In addition, you will develop and maintain positive internal and external relationships and be a true brand ambassador for MHA by living our values: respect every person, treating them with dignity; nurture mind body and spirit; and inspire the best in each other.

About you

This is the perfect role for a 1st level Registered Nurse (holding a valid PIN) who is an experienced care team supervisor and is now ready for lead responsibility as part of continuing professional development. You must have experience in general, dementia and mental health nursing care, you will be required to work in all three areas of the home, supporting the nursing and care team.

Your respect for older people is equally important. This is the perfect role if you have experience working at a senior level within a nursing home.
